Sometimes we start at the top, removing fronds, then the head and then cut the trunk into pieces.
More often we secure the head of the tree with a chain noose and chainsaw cleanly through the base of the tree. The whole tree is then lifted whole out of the garden.

All trees and green waste are taken to a Green Waste Recycling plant and turned into mulch or potting mix.
